Visit the property

Have you found a property that interests you on our Drouot.immo website? Contact the real estate professional in charge of the sale to arrange a viewing and obtain all the information you need to make your decision before the auction.

Step 2

Sign up for the auction

Would you like to bid on the property you visited? Submit your registration request online in just a few clicks on our Drouot.immo website with your ID card or passport. Our partner agency will contact you to finalize your file and validate your registration.

Step 3

Take part in the auction

Once your registration has been confirmed, log on at the time and date specified to take part in the 60-minute online auction. You bid anonymously in real time against other bidders. You can also leave an absentee bid if you wish.

Step 4

Win the auction

Are you the highest bidder? Congratulations! Our partner real estate agency will contact you immediately after the auction and submit your offer to the seller in order to finalize the transaction with the seller and your respective notaries as quickly as possible. Please note that it is the seller who chooses the best offer based on their expectations and criteria; they may also reject all offers. Your consultant will inform you promptly if your offer has been accepted.

How do auctions work?

Bidding starts at the starting price displayed for the property. An increment is indicated for each sale. You can either bid online during a 60-minute bidding window or leave an absentee bid before or during the auction. The auction room opens 15 minutes before the start of the auction.

How do absentee bids work?

Our absentee bid function will outbid you, step by step, without exceeding the maximum value you have set. The maximum amount of your absentee bid is confidential and only you are aware of it. However, absentee bids are displayed as such in the bidding history to ensure transparency for all bidders.

How do I register for an auction?

To register, you must have previously visited the property and provided a copy of your ID. You must also have submitted a financing plan for the property to the partner real estate agency assisting you. You will first receive a confirmation email indicating that your registration is in progress, followed by a validation email once your application has been accepted.

Is there a reserve price for the goods?

Properties are offered at auction with or without a reserve price. If they are offered without a reserve price, the seller undertakes to sell the item at the starting price. If they are offered with a reserve price, this will be indicated when registering for the sale.

What happens if a bid is placed in the last few seconds of the auctions?

If you place a bid in the last 3 minutes, the auction duration is automatically extended by 3 minutes from the last bid. Auctions close automatically if there is no activity during the last seconds.

Can I delete or modify an absentee bid?

You can remove your absentee bid at any time, before and during the auctions. If you want to change your absentee bid amount, you must first delete it and then create a new one with a different amount.
